Dental Hygienist

Raquel

Raquel is one of the most caring and compassionate dental hygienists you will ever have the pleasure to meet! Since initially starting her dental career as an assistant, she has found great satisfaction in helping patients receive comfortable oral health care. Raquel's love of providing hands-on care brought her back to school, graduating from Pierce College's Dental Hygiene program in 2007 and receiving her Bachelor of Science degree as well. We have been graced with her here since 2013, our longest serving employee! Outside of dentistry Raquel enjoys spending time with her family and finding peace in her flower garden with her granddog Kita.
Financial Coordinator

Karla

Karla has been with us since 2019, and had been doing dental insurance billing locally for over 10 years before that. She also used to own the popular downtown flea market! With her genuine warmth, she will set you at ease before helping you make sense of your dental benefits. Born and raised in the coastal town of Veracruz, Mexico, she studied oceanography at university and traveled worldwide before we were lucky enough for her and her husband to settle in the Olympia area! In her free time she enjoys hiking, jogging, and eating sushi!
Dental Hygienist

Tiffany

Tiffany was raised right here in Olympia and is as passionate about dental hygiene as you can get! Before joining our office, Tiffany was committed to the dental field as an assistant with 16 years of experience. She then attended and graduated from Pierce College’s 2018 Dental Hygiene class, and we were fortunate enough to nab her before anyone else! Tiffany focuses on educating her patients, listening to their concerns, and cleaning their teeth with a gentle hand. In her free time she enjoys camping, doing jigsaw puzzles and riding her motorcycle with the Olympia Lowlife Riders. She is married with a stepdaughter and grandson, and has a zoo's worth of animals: a Boxer, a Caucasian Shephard, two Mainecoons, two donkeys, four goats, and a menagerie of chickens!
Patient Coordinator

Kate

Kate was born and raised in South Dakota, where she finished college with a Bachelor's in Photography before moving to Olympia where her mom had settled in a few years prior. She's thrilled to be here with all the new terrains to explore and opportunities to photograph! In her free time she can found hanging with her cat Mooshu and painting, crocheting, or doing karaoke!
Dental Assistant

Lori

Lori's warm manner sets people at ease immediately, and her nearly twenty years of experience and dental assisting degree from SPSCC back that up with solid skills. Our patients always appreciate her concern for their comfort, and she's been with us since 2014! Lori enjoys creating her home in the wooded wonderland of the PNW, watching her kids play sports, family hikes, bowling, photography, going out with friends for a nice meal, and of course all her pets and animals on the farm!
Dog

Mikkel

Believe it or not, Mikkel grew up all the way in India and came to Dr. W. much in need of rescue. Her love and care for the downtrodden dogs of the world has brought joy into Mikkel's life. He's a part of the team nowadays, but tends to stay tucked back in the front office area since he's a shy guy!
EFDA

Nelly

Nelly has been in the dental field since 2015, and actually worked with Dr. Whisler up in Seattle back then! She has recently returned to school to become an "EFDA" (dental assistant who can place fillings and more!) and has reunited with Dr. W down here and joined our team! Nelly loves talking with patients and turning around their dental anxieties. In her free time you'll find her backpacking all over the PNW and indeed the whole world! She knows Spanish and ASL, and routinely volunteers with the deaf community.
